AUD/NZD losing grip of 1.10 territory

FXStreet (Guatemala) - AUD/NZD is trading at 1.0972, down -0.24% on the day, having posted a daily high at 1.1006 and low at 1.0965.

AUD/NZD moves lower and away from the psychological 1.10 handle with RSI is in neutral territory at 23.63, down from its last hourly close at 49.34. Data from the calendar has lifted the domicile currency with the manufacturing sector that remains in good health with a reading of 53.00 reading for July vs 53.3 last month. The New Zealand retail sales that were very positive arrived with ex autos (core) (QoQ) (Q2) at +1.2% vs +0.8% last, with retail sales (QoQ) (Q2) at +1% vs +0.7% last.

AUD/NZD Levels

Current price is 1.0972, with resistance ahead at 1.0973 (Hourly 200 SMA), 1.0981 (Daily Classic PP) and 1.0985 ahead of 1.10 psychological handle. Next support to the downside can be found at 1.0952 (Daily Classic S1), 1.0935 (Weekly Low), 1.0923 (Daily 20 SMA) and 1.0916 (Daily Classic S2).
