India to impose retaliatory tariffs against 20 US products - CNBC

According to the latest news headlines flashing on the wires, via CNBC, India will go ahead with retaliatory tariffs and impose duties against 20 US products effective from 21 June.

This move is in response to the recent steel and aluminium tariffs that the US President Donald Trump announced back in March.

The news, however, had a rather muted reaction in the FX market, with the USD holding on to its modest gains against INR just below the 68.00 round figure mark.
