EUR futures: liquidation stays unabated
According to CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR future markets, open interest continued to increase on Tuesday, this time by more than 5K contracts vs. Monday’s final 521,463 contracts.
Potential visit to 1.1100 on the cards
Traders continue to liquidate long positions during the first half of the week, helping EUR/USD to extend its decline for the third session in a row. In the meantime, the bearish picture around the single currency keeps shaping up and hints at the likeliness of a potential test of the 1.1100 neighbourhood in the near term.
