US: ISM services falls to 55.7 in May

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) services index dropped to 55.7 in May from 57.8 the previous month, coming in below the 57.0 expected by analysts. Still the reading was above the 50 threshold indicating expansion in the sector.

Meanwhile, the Markit Services PMI slid to 56.2 in the same month from 56.4 in April and slightly below the 54.5 anticipated.
