NZD/USD hits fresh 30-month lows

FXStreet (Córdoba) - After recovering ground during the European session the NZD/USD pair lost momentum and resumed the decline as the US dollar strengthened across the board.

NZD/USD reached a fresh 30-month low at 0.7505 and remains under pressure trading near the lows, headed toward the fifth daily loss in a row.

Yesterday’s slide below the long term support located around 0.7600 weakened the pair from a technical perspective and today is falling further below, looking for a new support. During the Asian session the area around 0.7510/15 capped the downside and the pair bounced and climbed to 0.7580. But the recovery was short lived and now the kiwi is back under pressure.
